[12] She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
Prayer Point
Pray today that the Holy Spirit would empower you and illuminate specific ways to do your husband good. Next, confess ways that you have done your husband harm. Lastly, pray a prayer of thanksgiving for your marriage and ask, in faith, that God would bless your marriage all the days of your life.
Application
Simple and direct, do good to your husband. Pray for him before bed or encourage him in the way you see him lead your family. And not harm. Be vigilant today not to tear him down with your nagging, be quick to listen and slow to frustration.
Reminder: this application is rooted in our prayer that we've first asked the Holy Spirit to do a work in us. We cannot "will" ourselves into being pleasant for a day lest we be an explosive terror tomorrow.
