*Welcome to our first day of 20 days praying through Proverbs 31:10-31. These prayer points and applications are guides but not exhaustive ways to pray through and apply these Scriptures. Proverbs 31:10
[10] An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
Prayer Point
What a truly precious thing it is to be a virtuous wife. If you are married ask the Lord to help you treasure being a wife. Pray also that the Holy Spirit would help you identify and turn from sins that entangle you in your relationship to your husband. If you have sons pray for their future wife or daughters that God would prepare them to be a wife. For those seeking to be a wife one day, fervently pray that the Lord would make you a virtuous woman even now ; a blessing to those around you today and in faith, to your future husband.
Application
Think of a way to physically and purposefully honor being a wife. Look at the clock and make an intentional effort to position your heart and mind for when your husband arrives home from work today. Greet him with grace, love and warmth! Maybe it's an extra smooch on the lips when he comes through the door, maybe it's his favorite meal for dinner or simply an intentional "Hey honey! So glad you're home!". Be blessed and take joy today in the gift it is to be a wife. Praise God!
